About Carlton Oregon
The city of Carlton was incorporated in 1899. Today, this Great Little Town has a population of slightly over 2000 residents and is recognized as one of Oregon’s most vibrant wine communities, even being called “The Wine Capital of Oregon.” Our Willamette Valley B&B is located in the heart of Willamette Valley’s Wine Country where there are over 40 wineries doing business within the city limits. Many of these wineries have tasting rooms open to the public and are within walking distance of The Carlton Inn Bed & Breakfast.
The Carlton Business Association (CBA) was formed in late 2007 and works in partnership with the city of Carlton to promote the town’s economic vitality while preserving its civic, cultural and historical well-being. Carlton has been accepted into the Oregon Main Street program as a “Transforming Downtown” city.
